BOOKING POLICIES

Availability is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. An inquiry, consultation, proposal, or verbal discussion does not reserve a date.

Your date is considered secured only after all required booking steps have been completed, including payment of the applicable deposit or retainer and, when required, receipt of a signed service agreement. Deposits and retainers are applied toward the total balance of the contracted services. Unless otherwise stated in writing, deposits and retainers are non-refundable if the client cancels the booking.

If Meek Butler Pro Glam must cancel and is unable to provide the contracted services, any applicable deposit or retainer paid for those services will be refunded.

BRIDAL RESERVATIONS

A non-refundable retainer is required to reserve bridal services.

The remaining balance and payment schedule will be outlined in the bridal service agreement.

Wedding dates are reserved specifically for each bride and retainers are non-refundable in the event of client cancellation.

ADDITIONAL ARTISTS

For larger parties, corporate teams and productions, we may arrange additional professional artists to ensure services are completed efficiently and according to schedule. Artist assignments are based on availability and the needs of the booking.

PHOTOGRAPHY & CONTENT

We respect the privacy of all clients.

Photographs or video captured during an appointment may be requested for portfolio, website, social media or promotional use. Where client authorization is required, content will not be used without the appropriate permission.

Clients working under confidentiality, production or media restrictions are encouraged to communicate those requirements before services begin.

CANCELLATIONS

We understand that plans can change.

For standard appointments, cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment may be charged the full remaining service balance.

Bridal, corporate, production, VIP, travel and other contracted bookings may have different cancellation requirements based on the scope of the project. Those terms will be provided in the applicable service agreement or proposal.

Failure to appear for a scheduled appointment without notice may result in the full service amount being charged.

RESCHEDULING

Where permitted, a client may request one reschedule and apply the existing deposit/retainer toward the new appointment, subject to availability and the terms of the applicable service agreement. A rescheduled date is not guaranteed until confirmed by Meek Butler Pro Glam. Additional rescheduling requests may require a new deposit or retainer.

Changes to wedding dates, destination bookings, productions or other large-scale engagements will be handled according to the applicable service agreement.

TRAVEL

Meek Butler Pro Glam provides on-location services throughout DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia and is available for domestic and destination travel. Travel fees may apply based on location and booking requirements.

Clients are responsible for applicable parking, valet, tolls and other agreed travel-related expenses unless otherwise stated in writing.

Destination bookings may require airfare or rail transportation, hotel accommodations, ground transportation, baggage or professional kit fees, per diem and compensated travel time.

All applicable travel requirements will be provided before the booking is confirmed.

HEALTH, ALLERGIES & SKIN SENSITIVITIES

Clients are responsible for informing Meek Butler Pro Glam before services begin of any known allergies, sensitivities, skin conditions or reactions that may affect the safe application of cosmetic or hair products. Meek Butler Pro Glam reserves the right to modify or decline a service when there is a reasonable concern regarding client safety, sanitation or the safe performance of the requested service.
